Payment policy
Last updated 6 September 2026. This page explains how billing works in plain language. Where it differs from the terms of service or the cancellation policy, those documents apply.
The monthly fee
Retainers are billed monthly in advance and are due on receipt. Every invoice is sent by email and carries its own payment details.
A month's shoot days are booked once that month's invoice is paid. If an invoice is outstanding we may hold scheduling until it clears — we would rather pause than quietly carry a balance and pretend it isn't there.
What the fee covers
Whatever your proposal lists: the lines you took, the shoot days that go with them, and the deliverables from those days. We do not publish prices, because the right number depends on the space and the day count — the figure that applies is the one in your proposal.
Not included, and billed separately if you want them: talent fees, permits for filming anywhere other than your own property, and travel outside Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood and Culver City.
Extra shoot days
Need a launch covered? An additional day in any month is billed at your usual day rate.
Advertising
CLNR Ads is a separate line and it is optional — the rest does not get cheaper if you skip it.
Advertising spend is not part of what you pay us. It goes to Meta, TikTok or whichever platform is running the campaign, and it is never refundable by us, because we never hold it.
Canceling
Retainers run month to month. Either of us can cancel with 30 days' written notice. The month already under way is not refunded, and the shoot days in it stay yours — we will either shoot them or deliver edits from footage already captured.
Moving or missing a shoot day
A shoot day can be moved with more than 48 hours' notice, subject to a free slot in the same month. Inside 48 hours it is treated as used, because the crew and the day are already committed.
If we cancel a day and cannot offer a replacement date that month, it is refunded at your day rate or carried into the next month — your choice.
If the work isn't right
Tell us. Revisions are part of the retainer and we would rather recut something than have you sitting on an edit you will not post. If we cannot get it right, that deliverable is credited against your next month.
Security
We do not take card details on this website and we do not store them.
