Cancellation and refund policy

We sell monthly production retainers, not physical goods, so there is nothing to return. This is how canceling works instead.

Canceling a retainer

Retainers are month to month. Cancel with 30 days' written notice and you will not be billed beyond that notice period.

The month already under way is not refunded. Shoot days in that month stay yours: we will either shoot them or, if you would rather not, deliver the edits from footage already captured.

Refunds

Days we did not shoot. If we cancel a shoot day and cannot offer a replacement date within the same month, that day is refunded at your day rate, or carried into the next month — your choice.

Days you canceled late. A shoot day canceled with less than 48 hours' notice is treated as used, because the crew and the day are already committed. With more than 48 hours' notice we will move it, if there is a free slot left in the same month.

Work already delivered. Edits that have been delivered are not refundable.

Advertising management. The management fee is separate and follows the same month-to-month basis. Advertising spend paid to Meta, TikTok or any other platform is never refundable by us — it goes to the platform, not to us.

If the work is not right

Tell us. Revisions are part of the retainer and we would rather recut something than have you sitting on an edit you will not post. If we cannot get it right, that deliverable is credited against your next month.

How to cancel

Email hello@clnrstudios.com. Please put the business name in the subject. We will confirm in writing, and confirmation from us is what makes it final.
